Hans Peter Brøndmo — CEO & co-founder
Hans Peter is passionate about inventing new applications and building companies that help people better communicate and connect. He is a successful serial entrepreneur and innovator. Prior to co-founding Plum, Hans Peter started Post Communications in 1996. Post was a pioneering email marketing software-as-a-service (SAS) company in the B2B2C space. As CEO and Chairman of Post he led the company to a successful acquisition by Netcentives in 2000. Prior to Post, Hans Peter co-founded DiVA which brought digital video editing to consumers in the early 90s. DiVA was acquired by Avid Technology in 1993. He has written a NYT best selling book on Email Relationship Marketing and has testified at US Senate and FCC hearings on Internet privacy and spam. (read more in his management bio)


Margaret Olson — CTO & co-founder

Margaret is a outstanding systems architect who designs large scalable systems and writes the code that brings them to life. She has spent her 25 year career in various key positions in the distributed systems groups at DEC and Apollo, and continued as an architect at Fidelity when they built their first Internet consumer trading application. Later, as the co-founder and CTO of Constant Contact which today forms the foundation for how more than 100,000 small business owners communicate with and market to their customers she architected and implemented the product that is now the undisputed leader in self-serve email marketing for small business. As the CTO and co-founder of Plum, Margaret has architected the Plum Share Space platform, which utilizes the very latest applicable technologies and software development methodologies. Margaret has played leadership roles in several technology industry standards organizations, most recently as the chair of the Email Service Provider Coalition Technology Working Group (2001-2005) where she led the industry towards implementing stronger authentication and accountability at the email infrastructure level. Steve Hall — Managing Director: Vulcan Capital
Steve Hall is a Managing Director and head of the Venture Capital investment effort for Vulcan Capital. He has over 10 years of direct venture capital experience, having executed early stage investments across a range of technology sectors. Early in his venture career, Mr. Hall was profiled by UPSIDE magazine as a "VC to watch" in the article, "Bold: A New Generation is Changing the Face of Venture Capital." He has been a frequent guest lecturer on venture capital investing and deal structuring at Columbia, UCLA and UC Boulder law schools.

Mr. Hall received his BA in business administration and BA in political science from Furman University and JD from Columbia University Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He is a member of the New York Bar.


Jeff Karras — General Partner: Levensohn Venture Partners

With high-level experience with the Portal Service segment at Sun Microsystems, and his role as Principal Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers' Strategic Change Group where he provided strategic guidance across a variety of industries including telecommunications, software, energy and financial services Jeff now specializes in discovering and investing in enterprise software, communications and wireless technologies, with particular interests in security, business analytics, and new Internet media. In addition to sitting on the Board of Plum Ventures and being on the Board of Trustees for Astia. Jeff works closely with a number of LVP portfolio companies such as Rapt, Radiance, Reconnex, ShotSpotter and Veraz Networks.

Jeff received a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
